Secretariat and Accounting
The assistant to the director, Miss Maryse Ghoneim, is in charge of (among other things), the treatment of dossiers: admissions, readmissions, summer prolongations, exchanges (“brassages”), file updates and follow-ups, room reservations, and most other administrative duties. She receives the residents from 9h00AM to 12h00PM, and also during the afternoons (on appointments), from Monday to Friday.
The accountant, Mr. Hervé Denizard, receives the residents from 8h00AM to 12h00PM on Monday through Friday. The monthly fees are payable before the 5th of every month. The monthly rental fees can be paid in cash, with a credit card, a bank check, by traveller’s checks in Euros or with bank draft in Euros. A receipt is given out to the resident for every payment. It is also with Mr. Denizard that one may acquire telephone units. In the impossibility of meeting with Mister Denizard to acquit the rental fees or telephone units, one can leave a bank check or a bank draft with the Receptionist while indicating the room number at the back of the check.
Reception
Ilham and the other receptionists take turns welcoming and informing you at the front desk. It is with the receptionists that one declares all guests, requests additional beds, rents equipment (including bicycles); Ilham and Mr Hervé Denizard can also credit your telephone account during the workable hours of the week. The Reception is opened from 8h00 AM to12h00 PM , 1h00PM to 7h00 PM and of 8h00PM to midnight. From midnight to 8h00 AM, a security guard oversees the house.
Maintenance and Household
An outside enterprise is responsible for the maintenance of the House and a janitor undertakes minor repairs, such as leaks, broken lamps, clogged sinks, defective taps, etc. These types of incidents must be declared to the Reception and recorded in the notebook foreseen for this effect. Repairs are usually carried out in the 48 hours following during the workable hours of the week.
